A walk around our neighborhood

Eric and I like to take walks together, its one thing we have always done. He convinced me to take my camera with me and just take photos :) We were talking about how many different trees there are in Hawaii. So Here are the many trees on just our walk around our neighborhood. I also took pictures of the buildings around us too.

This is the row of houses we live in. Ours is in the middle.
This is the Tennis and basketball courts right outside of our house. Behind it is a playground as well.

This is Eric's and I's favorite tree. This is a small version of it but it reminds us of a tree you would see in the Lion King. The HUGE ones are soo pretty!!

These are my favorite birds here. I couldn't get close to them today but they look like little white cranes.

This is the fire station. This building it right down road from our house. Its the first building you hit during our usual walk.

This is the Chapel and workout facility. They have a pretty nice gym. It even has racquet ball courts :)

 This is the teen lounge.
 This is the childcare center.
Another picture of the childcare center!

This is the pool attached to the back of the workout facility. We haven't swam in this pool yet.

This is the Shoppette where we can buy a lot of groceries and such.

The valley that you see here is the one that the Japanese used to attack wheeler air station during Pearl Harbor!
On the way back from the movies yesterday Eric noticed pigs on the side of the road. He demanded I let him out so he could take some pictures! He was cracking me up!

This is our little home. It is really nice because we are not on base but a military reservation. People still have to check in at a gate but we are away from the hustle and bustle of the base. We love where we live. It still has all the amenities of living on base but it feels like more of a family area than base. Schofield Barracks where Eric works is only about 5 miles away!
