I had an AMAZING weekend with my husband!! On Saturday we went to Dave
and Busters and ate lunch there. After we went and played games in their
arcade. Eric and I enjoy being silly so this was a lot of fun for us! Eric tried bumping one of the machines to make more coins drop so we would get more tickets and the machine started siring and saying please don't cheat.... it was too funny. We ended up getting candy with our tickets to take to the movies! We went and saw Here Comes the Boom. It was a REALLY
Good movie!! Even better than the previews made it out to be. After the movies we headed to target to finish getting some of the stuff I will need for when little miss Audrey arrives. So I had made a list for what I needed and my husband likes to ask people where stuff is so we aren't wondering around everywhere and he likes to embarrass me. Well one of the items on my list was pads due to bleeding after pregnancy and Eric has no idea what the items are so he is asking people where to find them and I am about to die laughing.... I just love my husband! He is so not shy and he makes me giggle. Yesterday was football day for him. So we stayed in relaxed. Took a walk and got a slushie. I have been having a LOT of braxton hicks contractions lately. Today we are going to Tripler to take a labor and delivery tour and tomorrow is my 36 week appointment... I cant believe how close this is all getting.... its so surreal!!!

Lock my kid up?!
So last night I am laying in bed NOT sleeping ;) and I come across a news article that says don't let living on a military instillation give you a false sense of protection.... hmm well that peeks my interest.
http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/breaking/174987451.html
There has been a lot of break ins and thefts into vehicles lately as well as sexual assaults here on this island bases'. I am so paranoid that I leave all porch lights on and I recheck the locks before going to bed. I will admit I feel much safer here than back home in Lansing but I am starting to learn there is no completely "safe" place.
Then I get on my friends Facebook to see another article posted last night
http://okinawa.stripes.com/news/us-troops-japan-hit-curfew-after-alleged-rape-okinawa
This one talks about two American sailors raping a Japanese girl. What is this world coming to!?! Two citizens that should be protecting the world are terrorizing it. All these news articles lately and the political debates make me want to take my family and go hide in a cave. You cant even go to the movies now without thoughts someone has a gun and wants to shoot up the theater. I swear I am not letting Audrey out of my site!!
My rant is now done ;)
So again I did not sleep. I went out to the recliners in the living room and gave that a try last night.... did not work. I hope I can get some sleep soon otherwise I know that I am going to end up sick from lack of sleep as I always do. I am 35 weeks today. 2 more weeks and I am to term and can safely have Audrey and the doctors wont stop it. Eric is dying for me to have her lol. I keep telling him she needs to stay in couple more weeks.
Today I think Eric and I are going to go to the movies and see Here Comes the Boom. He think it looks funny and we wont have many movie nights soon <3
19. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
Tennessee... I have always wanted to live in Tennessee. It is absolutely beautiful. I love the mountains. The people are soo nice. I wouldn't be too far from home.... just thinking about living there makes my heart happy lol

Insomnia
So I have not been sleeping well lately. I figured that was bound to happen soon enough being I only have 35 more days till my due date! Last night I was up till about 3 and finally fell asleep. I woke up at 4 to go the bathroom (of course!!) I had a dream I was eating McDonald's french fries. I was STARVING when I woke up and of course all I wanted was those darn fries.... dang pregnancy dreams!! I have also had the joys of being constipated last couple days which is odd for me. I have IBS and normally going the bathroom is all I do!! I am not sure which one I prefer lol.
I have my 36 week doctors appointment next week. They check my cervix and make sure that Audrey is head down. I am hoping that I am not dilated at all as Eric has 2 weeks of training days after that appointment. I am lucky though he is staying on this island and if I did go in labor he should be able to make it in time ;)

This past weekend Eric and I stayed super busy. On Friday we went out to dinner at Buca Di Peppo with our friends Kat and Eric. Its a family style Italian restaurant. It was super good! They take you through the kitchen and give you a little tour of the place when you first walk in. Then we went back to their house to watch a movie we rented. Everyone ended up chatting and we didn't end up watching it because it was almost midnight and this momma was tired!! Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch to take photos and look around. It is definitely no Uncle Johns :( It made me miss home a little bit... I wanted a doughnut and some cider lol That night I did another photo shoot of a little girl and mermaid outfit. We got lucky and there was turtles on the beach which made for some neat pictures!! That night we went over to Eric's friends house to celebrate a friends birthday.
Eric and I played beer pong together and ran the table... he of course drank the beer lol. I figured it would be a long time till we went to a party again so we hung out and had fun. Sunday was football so we watched that all day and got groceries in between ;) We eneded up going back to my friends house to finish the movie we were supposed to watch Friday!
I think this weekend we are going to go put putting or maybe bowling. Eric thinks I am crazy but I want to get in as much me and him time just having fun as we can before Audrey comes and our whole world changes. I know he is more than excited for her but I don't think he realizes how much she will change our lives... guess he shall see soon ;)
15. If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
A dog- I was going to say penguin sense its my favorite animal but I wouldnt want to get eaten by sharks lol... atleast as a dog I can just be someones companion and be protected lol
16. What are your 5 greatest accomplishments?
1. Owning my own home at the age of 20
2. My associates and soon my bachelors
3. Becoming a mother
4. Marrying the man of my dreams
5. Being an honest person
17. What is the thing you most wish you were great at?

Exhaustion
Seems I haven't posted on my blog in FAR too long... I feel like there is not enough time in the day lately :( I can not believe that I am due in six short weeks. Its starting to make me feel a little nervous but I am beyond excited. We had family and friends visit in last month which was super nice but I am ready to just get back into Eric and I's routine and back to our little family <3 I just finished my accounting class which feels great to get it out of the way before our little Audrey gets here! We had her baby shower which went great! I felt so blessed to get everything we did and it helped us tremendously. After the shower we went and finished getting everything else we needed for her. Her diaper bag is now packed and ready to go!! I did ALL of her laundry so everything is washed and put away. I also hung all the clothes up in order of size that way she will wear them all and I wont miss an outfit.... could also be I have OCD ;) Audrey's room is done and I love it!!! With one class down and us ready for Audrey I am starting to feel less stressed and more ready!!! I must admit I am scared to death to deliver but I know it will be worth it! Annoyed?!
Well I had a HUGE long blog post typed out and right before I was getting ready to enter it.. I some how closed out of it! Well that just sucks!! I haven't been on in a week because I have been trying to get ahead in school. My mother in law is coming here to visit and arrives in just two days. I figured I needed to get ahead in school so that I could enjoy my time visiting without stressing out. So for the last week I have done nothing but sit in front of the computer taking exams, writing papers, and doing homework. But I am ahead in two classes and my other class is pretty easy so I should be good to go!! Besides school I have also stayed busy taking photos!
11. Describe 10 pet peeves you have.
It has been fun taking photos of all the kids. They are so darn cute. It makes me SO excited to be a mother. I can NOT believe I am almost 31 weeks. 9 1/2 weeks to go!! I hate to jinx it but it has flown by!! Lately my belly has been hurting so I think Audrey is growing!! Also my legs KILL during the middle of the night. I want to chop them off! It will all be over soon though. Besides Eric's mom coming in 2 days, Eric and I are going to a concert on Saturday... I am super excited. Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, and Thompson Square. It is going to be a great concert and a nice date with the husband before our peanut gets here!
I left off a question 9... I know I know I should be done with these questions by now BUT I have been busy and school comes first! So I will answer a couple of them to give you guys something to read!

My morning sickness (really all day sickness) had started to wind down some. Normally I can tell if I am about to get sick but this particular day I had no warning. I got sick at the table. I couldn't stop throwing up. When I finally made it to the bathroom I busted into one of the stalls and didn't bother to shut door. There was a little girl in there who kept asking her mom what was wrong with me. I explained to her that I was pregnant and it was not the food lol.
11. Describe 10 pet peeves you have.
1. When drivers ride my a**

Shoot me now?
Sorry I have been slacking on posting to my blog I was reminded by my friend I need to get on it ;) I have been REALLY busy lately. I started working on my photography. I have been enjoying that and staying busy and working on my classes. I took 2 exams yesterday and did a photo shoot. Today I am shooting 5 little kids.... I am going to have my hands full!! I am off to a frustrating day. I didn't get much sleep. Then I went to the ATM to withdraw money and left my card. I called the store and the manager said she tried to get to it but it got eaten by the machine before she could :/ So I had to call the bank that services that machine.... they are telling me it will take 4 weeks to get my card back or I can pay $100 to get it back within the next couple days.... SCREW YOU!!! So I called my bank back home where the card is from (only access we have to our money is that card!!!) and am having them send the another card. The card I just had I JUST got from them. So this will be my third card while being here. At least they were nice about it :( It has been quite a day already!!
BUT
on the bright side. I meet a really nice military wife who is moving off the island. She gave me tons of props for photography really cheap cause I am going to do photos of her and her hubby. She is also
helping me out on great places to take photos here on the island. Its always nice to meet someone so helpful and nice. Made me feel good. I have multiple sessions I am doing today for free. I am working on building up my portfolio so people can see some of my work. I am super excited to use the new props and see how they turn out :)
I left off on question 7 so here is 8:
8. What are 5 passions you have?
1. Scrap booking
2. Photography
3. Cooking
4. Country activities lol (dirt biking, quads)
5. Horses :)
So I will try to be better and post more but bare with me. Between school and photography and my husband I am a busy girl ;) I am going to take my accounting exam tomorrow. Wish me luck!!

Dreams
I have been having crazy dreams lately. I almost feel as if I haven't slept upon waking. Last night I had a dream I asked Eric to slow down in the car (he has a lead foot). Instead of slowing down he decided to drive super fast to be a smart ass. Well he ended up getting us in a car crash. It was scary cause I was preggo in the dream too :( I texted him about it and his response was " I wouldn't have crashed"... typical!! Yesterday was Eric's 1 year anniversary in the army. I took him to game stop and bought him a game. He had just completed his last game. He may as well enjoy playing while he can ;) After we went to dinner at our favorite Chinese place on the island thus far. When I got home I sat on the computer while Eric played his game. I have become addicted to Songpop on Facebook. It is so fun!!OHH I also got some Christmas shopping done yesterday. I got my mother and mother in law done... I am kind of excited to give them their present! I am super Happy it is finally the weekend. I haven't gotten to sleep in and just lay in bed in what feels like AGES. Next week its back to my normal routine and I can get my school work done and concentrate. I am pretty excited ;) I don't think Eric and I are going to be doing much of anything this weekend besides relaxing. It has been a busy couple weeks.
Today's question:
7. What is your dream job, and why?
I would be a prosecuting attorney. I have always wanted to be a lawyer. It is my dream to go to law school at some point. It would be nice to work for the government and work on cases and look at evidence. Just the thought of looking at evidence and walking into a court room to present it makes my heart happy ;)

Hardest thing
This morning I was feeling crafty so I decided to make a page with Audrey's Hawaiian name on it. I thought it would be neat for her to remember as she will be born here :) I am not sure if I am going to scrapbook it or frame it. I just got back from my daily 2 mile walk around Helemano with my friend Kat. I think it may have tuckered Keely out cause she is in a daze and when I tried to feed her lunch she started crying. I laid her down and put on Dora and I have a feeling she is going to be down for the count. I told her we would go to the park later today with Kat and the kids she is babysitting... we shall see if she is awake for that ;)I have an accounting exam coming up that I am getting nervous for. I haven't had any time to just work on school yet. Between visitors and babysitting I am wore out. It will be nice to be back to normal next week and get caught up on homework and feel relaxed. I can not believe tomorrow I am 29 weeks pregnant. The time has FLOWN by! Although I can't physically be at the shower I am super pumped for it. Its over skype and it will be fun to see everyone!!
I am on question 6 on my 30 day list, so here it is:
6. What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?
The hardest thing I have done lately is say goodbye to my family and go through this whole pregnancy without my mom. Not having her here when i deliver I know is going to kill me. It breaks my heart to think about it now :( As much as we may fight sometimes... she is my rock and keeps me afloat when I am down.

Do over
We said goodbye to Deb on Monday night. We took her to the airport about 7:30pm. It was sad to see her go :( It was really nice to have someone from home come visit. I must say though I was wore out. I am not used to being on the go all day specially sense being pregnant. Yesterday I had to do my three hour glucose test because I failed my one hour.I got to the lab at 7am when they opened and I was at the lab just under 4 hours. They missed a couple times so I ended up getting stabbed 6 times :( I miss my Sparrow friends lol. I had a doctors appointment couple hours later where they told me I passed!! I am super glad I do not have to worry about diabetes or my baby due to it! It was a long day between the lab and doctors so I went to be early. The rest of this week I am babysitting my neighbors little girl. She is a cutie but I must say after the tiring week touring the island and this week babysitting I will be glad to go back to normal. I need to catch up on homework reading and get ahead cause Eric's mom comes in 3 weeks! I am ready to sleep for days ;)

Aukele
We Picked up Deb from the airport on Monday night. We took here back to our house and showed her around. I had made BBQ Pulled chicken and had it ready in the crock pot for her.
Tuesday- We went to Waikiki and walked around the strop and had lunch. I showed her Waikiki beach and we went to the Army museum there. I made stir fry for dinner. She had shipped me my favorite stir fry sauce so I had to show her why we loved it so much ;) After dinner we went North Shore and watched the sunset. It was absolutely beautiful! We got some shaved ice on the way home!
Wednesday- Deb and I went to Pearl Harbor while Eric worked. She really enjoyed the audio tour of one of the old Subs. We had lunch at Chilis... my favorite!! Then we went to the swap meet at the Aloha Stadium. It is basically a ton of vendors selling stuff for really cheap. She got a lot of stuff for her family back home so that was fun!!
Thursday- We got up early so I could go into the lab to do my glucose test fasting. After we went to Dole where they grow pineapples. They have the best pineapple ice cream there... if only I knew I failed my glucose test before eating that ice cream!! Then we went to an area where the royal use to give birth. It was not as cool as I expected. It was pretty much trees and stones lol. After that we headed to the north shore to do some shopping! After Eric got out of work we headed to the North Shore for dinner at Breakers. Then we went to Sharks Cove where Eric snorkeled and we watched the sunset. This time it was not as pretty :(
Friday- We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was like a park full of different islands cultures. It was pretty neat. We got to do and see things from each station. We had dinner and a luau here as well. The food was REALLY good!! I learned that Audrey's name in Hawaiian is Aukele. I ended up getting a bracelet made with her name on it. Then we went to a show called Breath of Life where it was hawaiian dancing and fire dancers. It was the best part!
Saturday- We headed over to Pali Lookout on H3. It has AMAZING views but it is super windy!! We had lunch at a pub and grill. They had amazing food. We drove over to Kualoa Ranch where we did a movie site tour. It had the best views of the mountains. Eric and I were obsessed with the show Lost so it was really neat to see a lot of their sites and props. They had a horse ranch where they do tours and I wanted on it so bad!! After I give birth you will find me there ;) Then we headed over to Macadamia nut farm. It was pretty neat. They had a ton of different types of macadamia nuts. Eric just cooked hamburgers on the grill and now we are getting ready to watch a movie and settle down for the night. We are going to wake up at 5am to hike Diamond head before the sun beats down on us.
Here are pictures from the last couple days:

Anticipation!
I am getting excited for many things!! My friend Deb arrives on Monday and will be here for a week! I am so excited to have a little slice of home here. I have been pretty home sick lately so I think this will help :) The day she arrives school starts. Sounds dumb but I get super excited when classes start. I know this semester will not be a cup of tea being in my last trimester and delivering Audrey during the semester. I am finally at a University and getting closer to completing my bachelors and moving on to the next step in my life.... so that excites me!! I feel like life is REALLY going to start flying by. Deb for a week. School starts and I will be babysitting my next door neighbors little girl. Couple weeks after Deb leaves Eric's mom is coming to visit. by time she leaves we will be into October. First weekend in October is my baby shower.... its by Skype but I am still SUPER excited. It will be SO nice to see everyone's faces I have not seen in what feels like AGES! I am getting so excited and nervous for my little girl to arrive. I wish more than anything my mom and dad could be here with me to experience it but I just got to enjoy the moment and wait for them in January!! I am getting pretty excited....lots to look forward to!!
Yesterday I met a bunch of new military wives. I went out to lunch with a friend names Allison. She was super sweet and her son was adorable!! Then Katherine had me meet some of her friends at the pool here on Helemano. It was a good time and was nice getting out and meeting more people! My legs got burnt though haha. I am off to go for my daily 2 mile walk with my friend Katherine!!

A walk around our neighborhood
Eric and I like to take walks together, its one thing we have always done. He convinced me to take my camera with me and just take photos :) We were talking about how many different trees there are in Hawaii. So Here are the many trees on just our walk around our neighborhood. I also took pictures of the buildings around us too.
This is the row of houses we live in. Ours is in the middle.
This is the Tennis and basketball courts right outside of our house. Behind it is a playground as well.

This is Eric's and I's favorite tree. This is a small version of it but it reminds us of a tree you would see in the Lion King. The HUGE ones are soo pretty!!
These are my favorite birds here. I couldn't get close to them today but they look like little white cranes.
This is the fire station. This building it right down road from our house. Its the first building you hit during our usual walk.

This is the Chapel and workout facility. They have a pretty nice gym. It even has racquet ball courts :)
This is the teen lounge.
This is the childcare center.
Another picture of the childcare center!
This is the pool attached to the back of the workout facility. We haven't swam in this pool yet.
This is the Shoppette where we can buy a lot of groceries and such.
The valley that you see here is the one that the Japanese used to attack wheeler air station during Pearl Harbor!
On the way back from the movies yesterday Eric noticed pigs on the side of the road. He demanded I let him out so he could take some pictures! He was cracking me up!

This is our little home. It is really nice because we are not on base but a military reservation. People still have to check in at a gate but we are away from the hustle and bustle of the base. We love where we live. It still has all the amenities of living on base but it feels like more of a family area than base. Schofield Barracks where Eric works is only about 5 miles away!
